I being a volunteer social worker, try my best to work for the betterment of the community and to make people aware of the current dilemmas and the disasters happening within the world nowadays, and to educate them to act accordingly. I am also a blog and content writer here in Pakistan. I started earning online at a very young age-in 6th standard. I belong to a very humble background, my father’s income was very low and the resources were not enough to cope with the expenditures of our education. I was not able to continue my studies. Here I had only two choices- either to quit my studies, stay at home by getting married and become a housewife or to take the plunge, creating opportunity for myself and continue my studies. I chose the latter one.so, from here I started the mighty journey of my career. I started searching for some online work then, I came to know about online writing, blogging and stuff. I continued following some high profile bloggers and read their content regularly. Once I commented on the blog of a foreigner. He was impressed by my thoughts and critical analysis. He wanted me to work for him because he was of the view that I’ve this talent in me and I’ve got some skills. He started assigning me loads of work and bundles of content to write and review. This helped me greatly to enhance and polish my writing skills and to think and ponder on broad scale. I started writing on different niche like health, beauty, body building, drugs-their use and misuse. In 2009, I started writing on blogs. And became a well-known blogger in 2010. I also wrote online for some groups i-e Digi stripe, Neil’s sites, American snacks etc. I started earning this way. The money I earned from online working greatly helped to make the financial status of my family better as well as helped me and my siblings to continue studies without any difficulty and hindrance.

My social career started when I first participated in a literary society of my school. After that, I joined debating society and then took part in a lot of debating competitions. Unfortunately, I lost the very first two competitions of my life at school but I took this failure as a step forward to success. Intelligent people learn from their mistakes and failures. So, soon after that I applied for a college level declamation contest and luckily, this time I defeated the failures and made history by winning that contest. During my pre-medical school time, I won several other contests and also started doing a lot of social work voluntarily. In the year 2013, I got first prize in an intercollegiate contest. Before starting my medical school at KMU, I had already been working with many institutions and was involved in productive social activities. This helped me a lot to survive in an intellectual atmosphere at KMU and now Alhamdullilah I represent my university in foreign countries as well. I am interested in training workshops, volunteerism and ambassadorship. Volunteer working is my passion. I work for the goodness of humanity and in front of this sacred cause, money holds merely a zero value. I always try to serve society by utilizing my skills. I’ve trained students of different institutions about Peace building and Conflict Resolution. Several organizations invite me as a speaker on different national as well as international events. I’ve proved myself to be a “YOUNG INSPIRING LEADER FROM CONSECTIVE TRADITIONS OF MANSEHRA”. Different TV channels also invite me as an inspiring young lady as a successful young blogger. Besides organizing workshops, conferences and seminars, I’m also participating in different panel discussions, youth forum activities to encourage youth and to make myself available for the better cause. I am also working in person for women empowerment and women rights. My motive is to give the females of KP the confidence to speak out for their rights and free them out from this reckoned male dominating society. |
I am designated as the Minister for Women Affairs and Empowerment at National Youth Assembly (NYA) and also the president of Insaf Youth Wing (IYW) Peshawar region and Urdu Literary Society Head at KMU and a trainer and speaker at Center for Awareness, Training and Development (CATD), Education Youth Ambassador at Idara Taleem o Agahi, Executive member of Blood Donor Society KMU. I have also been working on “Community Outreach Project” since September 2017 in which I’m doing career counselling of Matric (9 and 10 grade) students.

Saadia Khalid
Hunarmand Khatoon
Being young Researcher, visiting Lecturer, motivational speaker, social activist and content writer, my life journey is full of struggles and challenges as strength and growth come only through continuous effort and struggle. Belonging from a middle class and traditional family, it is not easy to chase my dreams but I believed that I had to dream hard, wish big and chase my goals because no one else will take charge of my life or do it for me. Since my birth, my society is pressuring me that I am a girl, I don’t have right to take my own decisions, I don’t have right to go into University. I am allowed to go out at my own. I am a girl who is said to be a burden in a family and parents only duty for me to find a suitable match and get rid of me through marriage. Fortunately, my parents have break all the chains and let me get admission into the largest University of Pakistan that is University of the Punjab. So, I had cleared my masters in Early Childhood Education with second position which is my first biggest achievement in my life. The next decision in my life was to continue my higher studies or just go for a school job as my dad got retirement from civil service. That was really difficult phase for me as I don’t want to be burden on my family. at that time, my mother became my support system, she taught me to go after my dreams and follow my passion. After that, I realized that success comes in life when you simply refuse to give, with goals so strong, that obstacles, failures and loss only act as motivation. I had got admission in MPhil Curriculum Studies and that was the first time, I have taken research seriously, as I felt that research is need of the time and can make real world impact. Meanwhile, I had keep on participating in research based seminars and conferences to increase my knowledge and interest in this field. In 2014, I had presented my first research paper on the topic, “effects of the violent cartoons on the social behavior of children,” at 2nd International Research Conference, Institute of Education and Research. My next biggest achievement was getting the “HEC Merit Scholarship” for my MPhil and PhD Studies. My mom used to say that girl education is more precious to gold and thus I got to know the meaning of this phase. I was quite introvert at that time, I don’t participate in extracurricular activities and my whole focus was on my studies. After my admission in PhD, my life drastically changed in the year of 2017 after knowing my infinite potential, I was just underestimating myself and could not discover my inner strength and was unable to determine my unlimited capacity to achieve. Allah has chosen the field of education and research for me, which will unlock the needs and potentials of the 57% of youth in Pakistan where research is most neglected field. My aim is to raise the standard and quality of research and to bring Pakistan as topper in research field. Our youth at Universities are keen to learn, want to participate in research based activities to become lifelong learners who are always updated and feel dynamic while connected with digital world having analytical skills. Learning basic research skills is something which is lost in many educational institutes. Students find the word " Research " really complex and they are unable to find relevant information in libraries and internet. Internet is useful tool but only skilled researchers can use it properly. As the social media is the strong medium to change the world and provide information at just one click, I start using Facebook to achieve my aim of establishing Research Forum. I had made a group named as Research Forum and PhD in Education and got more than 10,000 members in short time. With active use of social media, I have joined many social and political organizations like Chief Minister Youth Mobilization Committee, Positive Pakistan, State Youth Parliament, Youth Revolution Clan and Umeed e Sehar as in leading the female team and content writer. With this social work, my another dream of being in Limelight with a lot of followers get fulfilled. My team had organized many big events in Lahore and provide me opportunity to interact with different people from all walks of life, helped me in becoming better communicator and influential leader with good convincing powers. I also got opportunity to speak at public forums which turned me into good teacher who is like a light who consumes itself to give light to others. These all opportunities blessed me with job of University lecturer in my University. Last, but not the least, the idea of setting a research forum to encourage students to think, observe, reflect, analyze different things around their surroundings which also enhances positive and deep learning in students at different subjects of Research get selected for Ponds Miracle Journey which was two-day Mentorship training at MovePick Hotel Karachi. It was totally sponsored opportunity and mentors has supported me in this vision to fulfil this on realistic grounds. In 2018, I have set up cyber Research Cell in collaboration of Positive Pakistan to promote effective use of social media through research. All these efforts for being social media activist from last six years also give me opportunity to achieve the milestone of becoming best social media influencer for the year 2018 at the Social Media Talkathon by Positive
In search of myself, I asked the nature,
Oh Nature, I am helpless traveler with misleading roads,
Oh Nature, I am hopeless creature with no destination,
Oh Nature, be my helper, be my guide, be my safeguard and take me refuge against the cruelty of the world
Nature Answered me
Climb the steps one by one, for one day, it will be done.
Your mind, body and soul will sing, Success is what, you can achieve.
No matter, what comes your way.
Never decide to run away from problems.
From deep, within you, there is true determination.
All, you can be original, as you possess all qualities
That are UNIQUE and EXQUISITE
Never get dishearten if you fail. You are the only one who can overcome fear.
Many more attempts you will made,
Until you take final take.
Then you will see your goal not very far away.
Oh Nature, Thanks

Ayesha Irum
I’m Ayesha Irum a visually impaired lady, lives in Faisalabad. I have four sisters and two brothers. My father was a Govt. servant. I was born with Glaucoma and Cataract in my both eyes. My first eye surgery was done when I was of three months which left me one sided blind for the rest of my life. From left side, I have only 25% vision aided with glasses. Despite of my impairment, I did my matriculation and intermediate in year 2005 and 2009 respectively with distinction. As many other students want to be a doctor I also had that dream. Unfortunately, my mother demoralized me that I am a blind and can never become a doctor. It took me 2 years to back into my life. It was a turning point in my life, so, I decided to proof myself that there is nothing which I may not do like a normal person can. Therefore, I started my graduation from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. I was awarded with University Merit Scholarship during my B.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture. After my graduation, I secured admission in Master of Science (Agriculture) where I won British-Scottish Scholarship as excellence award. On completion of my master degree, I won “Silver” medal; a great day of my life when my dreams came true. Besides my curriculum, I participated in extracurricular activities during my University life. I have been a sports woman and have participated in sport competitions held at University. I served as “Finance Secretary” of Soil and Environmental Sciences Student society for one year.
After sudden death of my father in 2014, it was a great loss in my life, I felt myself in pitch darkness as he played a vital role on my way to success. He wanted me to see at some good place so I can live an independent life. Right after the completion of my M.Phill I was appointed as Assistant Research Officer (BPS-17) by Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) in the Punjab Agriculture Department. Currently, I am working at Ayub Agriculture Research Institute Faisalabad as Assistant Research Officer (Soil Science). Today, I am what my father had dreamed for me of being independent, successful and confident.
One thing is worth mentioning here from my schooling to my professional Life; I didn’t ever use any short cuts, I competed as a normal lady, I didn’t allow my impairment to be hurdle but my strength, I didn’t ever think even for a while I can’t do something which a normal person can do. I want to be an iconic lady like Saima Ammar (Late), Dr Fatima Shah and Dr Salma Maqbool (three blind women) for those who are suffering from any kind of disability.
We all are very well known by the fact that the challenges faced by women are immense. Being a woman visually impaired and working as agriculturist in male dominating society where there is no room for any kind of weakness, is not less than some milestone that I have achieved. I strongly believe on positive attitude, optimism, believe in oneself and most important to trust in ALLAH because He can make you what other can only imagine.

But that is not true.
My name is MOiz Shaukat and I am 17, I would say that behind every successful man there is a supportive parents. I am one independent boy who is proud to say that whatever I am today, it is all because of my parents.
People who generally know me say that I am a perfectionist. I always ensure to give my 100% whether it’s my education, my career, my family or my friends and justify it with great appreciations and acknowledgements. But I would say that it would have never been possible if I wouldn’t have my parents like mine. They are a gem, free from the discrimination and gender biasness that is present in the Pakistani society. They are true example for many parents to learn that daughters and sons are real blessings and true source of pride if you raise these flowers with love, care and understanding.
It’s a universal truth that parents always want the best for their kids. Having four daughters and a son can easily push him to discriminate between them but they are such a respectable who has never made me feel that I'm less important. They cares and loves us the most. My family is my inspiration and strength. I can’t imagine my success without their efforts. Through this platform, I want to thanks both my parents and people out there for being my biggest support system! Without you guys, I would have literally been nothing! I love you all. May you all stay as my shelter always. Ameen!”
